Responsibilities
The Business Planning & Operations team take a strategic approach to driving impact cross-functionally across TikTok. They work with multiple business units and senior stakeholders including, but not limited to, Category, Partnerships, Strategy, Governance & Experience and Data Science. This team drives forward business growth and operational efficiency by providing significant business diagnosis and practical solutions through the use of analytical insights.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with category managers to design and execute category operation strategies, including partner, product, and content strategies to drive business growth.
- Analyze partner segments and optimize short video and live streaming strategies tailored to different partner characteristics.
- Develop and refine product selection strategies based on user preferences and platform insights.
- Optimize business SOPs, conduct root cause analysis, and provide scalable solutions for category-level operational issues.
- Build best practices and playbooks to enable partners to implement effective, data-backed strategies.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
- Demonstrable experience working in one or more of the following; Operational Strategy, Management Consulting, Growth Strategies, Commercial Analysis.
- Strong data sense and analytical skills, with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex datasets.
- Experience overseeing strategic projects, driving forward cross-team collaboration and influencing decision making through data with actionable insights.
- Solid logical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a consumer focused environment e.g. Commerce, Retail, FMCG, Social Media, Technology, Entertainment.
- Knowledge/understanding of business models similar to TikTok and other content-based platforms.
