Role Description
The Timber Construction Installer is responsible for assembling, installing, and finishing timber structures on construction sites in Ireland. This on-site role includes reading and interpreting technical drawings, preparing materials, and using appropriate tools and machinery to complete installations safely and accurately. The installer coordinates with site supervisors and team members, follows safety procedures, and ensures that all work meets Baucon Ireland’s quality standards and project timelines. Daily tasks may involve measuring and cutting timber, fitting structural components, performing basic maintenance on tools, and assisting with inspections and adjustments as required. This is a full-time role based in Ireland, working primarily on active construction sites.

- Practical skills in timber construction, carpentry, or joinery, with experience installing structural or architectural timber elements.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and technical documentation, including measurements and specifications.
- Competence in using hand tools, power tools, and relevant machinery safely and efficiently on construction sites.
- Strong awareness of health and safety practices, including the use of personal protective equipment and adherence to site regulations.
- Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor, work at heights, and handle materials in varying weather conditions.
- Team-oriented mindset with reliable communication skills and the ability to cooperate with supervisors, colleagues, and subcontractors.
- Willingness to travel within Ireland and occasionally to other European locations, depending on project needs.
- Previous experience in timber construction or general construction is highly desirable; vocational training or apprenticeship in a related trade is an advantage.
- Basic English language skills required; additional languages (e.g., German) are beneficial.
- Valid work authorization for Ireland and a clean driving record are preferred.
