Taylor Lane Timber Frame Limited is one of the UK’s leading timber frame construction specialists, producing factory-precision, high-quality systems home builders.
Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Timber Frame Estimator role based in Hereford. The Timber Frame Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate quotations and cost estimates for timber frame projects, using architectural drawings, specifications, and client information.

The Timber Frame Estimator will collaborate closely with production, sales, and project management to help deliver high-quality, cost-effective timber frame solutions.

Qualifications
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret architectural and engineering drawings and produce accurate cost estimates.
- Experience in construction estimating, preferably within timber frame, offsite manufacturing, or residential housebuilding environments.
- Proficiency with estimating software, spreadsheets, and general IT tools (e.g., MS Excel, MS Office) for data analysis and quotation preparation.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and clients.
- Good organisational and time-management abilities, including managing multiple tenders, meeting deadlines, and maintaining detailed records.
