Role Description The Timberframer is a full-time, on-site role based in the United Kingdom, working primarily on residential and commercial construction projects. Day-to-day tasks include:

- Reading and interpreting technical drawings
- Measuring and cutting timber components
- Assembling and installing timber frames
- Ensuring work aligns with structural and safety requirements

The role involves collaborating closely with site managers, other trades, and suppliers, coordinating materials, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. The Timberframer will also be responsible for:
- Inspecting completed work, making adjustments as needed
- Following company quality standards and health and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Strong practical Carpentry and Joinery skills, including accurate measuring, cutting, and assembly of timber components.
- Experience in Timber Frame construction on residential and/or commercial building sites, with the ability to interpret construction drawings and plans.
- Sound knowledge of construction site health and safety practices, including holding a valid CSCS card or being able to obtain one.
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently, with good manual dexterity and physical fitness suitable for site work.
- Reliable teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate with supervisors, trades, and clients in a professional manner.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship, with a proactive approach to problem-solving on site.
- Relevant trade qualification or apprenticeship in Carpentry, Joinery, or Timber Framing, or equivalent on-site experience.
- Full, valid driving license and access to transport to reach various sites is an advantage.
