This position reports directly to the Airport Business Planning Manager, primarily providing support to the LHR operational and administration teams to ensure compliance with all operational Workbrain activities that supports payroll, financial, operational and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
The role is key to delivering performance improvements aligned with attendance and headcount targets, working collaboratively with operational teams to implement consistent processes that support station and company objectives. Responsible for handling the following as their primary role:
- Managing team member exceptions and adjustments in Workbrain
- Coordinating with payroll and departments for end of month close
- Managing new hire recruiting and onboarding
- Supporting with ad hoc statistical analysis for headcount, overtime and lost time administration
What You'll Do

Management will modify the job or require other tasks be performed whenever it is deemed appropriate to do so, observing, of course, any legal obligations including any collective bargaining obligations.
- Monitor and update ATW agent exceptions, ensuring compliance with local procedures and working time directives
- Administer company policies and procedures to effectively manage lost time, including conducting attendance stage meetings
- Ensure station readiness for monthly payroll close
- Collaborate with operational teams on Workbrain discrepancies and follow up for corrective action with Departmental Leaders Audit Department, ASM & Team Leads
- Proactively create and implement corrective action plans to support payroll and attendance goals for operational teams including customized, ongoing & recurrent training for ASMs, team leaders and agents
- Oversee Workbrain locally, working to support future Workbrain related initiatives, including implementing digital solutions for station processes where needed
- Communicate with team members on short/long term absences, ensuring Workbrain reflects accurately and all supporting documentation are updated
- Monitor, evaluate and provide concise explanations for drivers of lost time
- Administer shift swap/trades for sickness, jury duty, bereavement, etc. and apply restrictions where necessary
- Provide analytical reports of employee attendance trends to inform and update management for escalation when needed
- Prepare communication for distribution to employees related to attendance
- Perform duty of care through support for team members on gradual return to work; follow-up discussions
- Any additional functions when required by station management such as analytics and special projects

All You'll Need for Success
Minimum Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience
- Supervisory knowledge/experience using Workbrain
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office to include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Above average understanding of company policies/procedures/AA team member programs
- Strong ability to lead change initiatives, working closely with airport, team member and union teams
- Good communication skills with proven ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organisation
- Self-motivated, customer focused, flexible, and able to adapt to a changing environment
- Strong presentation, organization and planning skills
- Ability to prioritize, work on multiple projects simultaneously and work under pressure with timelines
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to deal with sensitive information and act in a professional manner at all times
- High degree of personal integrity with a commitment to confidentiality
- Strong team player willing to work flexibly within the team
- Willing to work in a shift environment including weekends and bank holidays, when needed

Preferred Qualifications - Education & Prior Job Experience
- 3 years of business, operational and financial background with experience in assessing manpower needs
- General knowledge of UK employment legislation
