Location: Heathrow, UK
Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off – 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Time Critical Operations & Customs Executive to manage urgent international shipments during the night shift. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Time Critical Import & Export operations, cross-trade shipments, and UK customs procedures, with solid practical knowledge of CDS (Customs Declaration Service).
Key Responsibilities
- Manage Time Critical Import & Export shipments from booking through final delivery.
- Coordinate urgent shipments across international markets and trade lanes.
- Manage cross-trade shipments, coordinating with origin, destination, carriers, agents, and customers.
- Prepare and process Import & Export customs declarations through CDS.
- Ensure compliance with UK customs procedures and documentation requirements.
- Closely monitor urgent shipments and proactively resolve delays or operational issues.
- Coordinate with airlines, handling agents, customs brokers, transport providers, and overseas offices.
- Maintain accurate shipment, customs, and operational documentation.
- Provide timely shipment updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Work independently during the night shift and make effective decisions under time-sensitive conditions.

Requirements
- Strong experience in Time Critical freight operations.
- Hands-on experience with Import & Export customs procedures.
- Strong practical knowledge of UK CDS.
- Proven experience handling cross-trade shipments.
- Experience managing urgent and time-sensitive international shipments.
- Good understanding of customs compliance and documentation.
- Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
