Tipper Driver
Hourly Rate – £14.67
Hours – 45 hours per week, flexible hours between 4:00am and 6:00pm, Monday to Friday
Location & Postcode – Lincoln, Paving Way, LN6 3QW
As a Tipper Driver at FCC Environment, you will be responsible for transporting Incinerator Bottom Ash (IBA) between North Hykeham Energy from Waste Facility, Eastcroft Energy from Waste Facility and Whisby Landfill. You will ensure all loads are transported safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of health and safety and vehicle compliance.
This vacancy is for a full-time position, working 5 days per week.

What will you be doing?
- Drive a tipper vehicle up to 32 tonnes gross vehicle weight
- Transport IBA between FCC Environment sites and Whisby Landfill
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects promptly
- Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately at the start and end of each shift
- Collect and submit weighbridge tickets and associated documentation
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness inside and out
- Follow all health and safety procedures at loading and tipping points
- Liaise with site management and operational teams across FCC Environment locations
- Assist with other operational duties during outages or non-driving periods
What are we looking for?
- Valid Category C driving licence
- Valid Driver CPC qualification
- Valid digital tachograph card
- Completion of 35 hours CPC training
- Reliable and trustworthy approach to work
- Ability to work independently and use your own initiative
- Good understanding of health and safety requirements
- Strong communication skills
- Previous tipper or HGV driving experience is desirable
