Job Opportunity: Band 7 Senior Tissue Viability Nurse
Are you an experienced nurse with a background in Tissue Viability looking for a new opportunity to be part of an evolving Tissue Viability Team? Then we would like to hear from you.
We are seeking a new Band 7 Senior Tissue Viability nurse to lead the Suffolk Community TVN team. You will work closely with Community Nursing leads and fellow senior TVNs, provide advanced evidenced-based wound care, undertake monthly audits and work with the Harm Free Lead and community matron to facilitate change across the service.
Key Responsibilities
- Work as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Tissue Viability at Ipswich Hospital by providing expert specialist advice on tissue viability issues through both direct and indirect patient care.
- The role will also require cross-site working at Colchester Hospital and in the Community, working with the other Harm Free Care Leads at ESNEFT to drive strategic improvement specific to Tissue Viability.
- Facilitate evidence-based practice on wound management, the prevention and management of pressure ulcers, and patients requiring Topical Negative Pressure Therapy.
- Monitor and improve patient outcomes relating to tissue viability through pressure ulcer incidence & pressure relieving equipment audits.
- Assist with the coordination and provision of tissue viability education throughout ESNEFT.
