PURPOSE STATEMENT
Provide end-to-end leadership and accountability for customer service, inventory governance, warehousing, logistics and strategic customer growth. The role safeguards approximately £10 million of inventory assets, drives inventory accuracy and audit compliance, delivers customer service excellence, and supports strategic growth opportunities.
Key Accountabilities/Outcomes
- Lead Customer Service teams and ensure high service levels, OTIF delivery performance and customer satisfaction.
- Own inventory governance across finished goods (£6m) and raw materials (£4m).
- Lead inventory accuracy, cycle counting, reconciliation and stock integrity programmes.
- Reduce inventory variances, obsolete stock and write-offs while improving working capital performance.
- Ensure audit readiness and support Finance with stock verification and compliance activities.
- Manage logistics, warehousing, transport and freight performance to achieve service and cost targets.
- Control warehouse and distribution budget/AOP of approximately £1.5 million.
- Act as escalation point for customer service, supply continuity and logistics issues.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration across Supply Chain, Planning, Operations, Finance and Commercial teams.
- Support onboarding, service delivery and performance management for McDonald's EU and other strategic customers.
- Deliver KPI reporting and continuous improvement programmes.
- Adherence with all Company Occupational Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies and procedures. To ensure full co-operation in all aspects of HSE and to act positively on any failings or weaknesses in our systems or procedures, identified by yourself or brought to your attention.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team, providing direction, coaching and performance management to ensure delivery of business objectives, continuous improvement and a culture of accountability.
- You must comply with Rich Products Health and Safety policies and procedures at all times.

Critical
- Degree or equivalent experience in Supply Chain, Logistics or Business
- Proven leadership experience in customer service, logistics or supply chain management
- Strong inventory management, stock control and audit experience
- Financial awareness with experience managing budgets and working capital
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Continuous improvement and KPI management experience
Desirable
- Professional supply chain qualification (CIPS/APICS/CPIM)
- Experience within food manufacturing/FMCG
- Knowledge of McDonald's or QSR customer requirements
- Project management qualification
- Advanced ERP/analytics expertise
- Experience of international logistics and cross-border supply chains
