Job Description
Purpose of the Role
To manage change projects that help the organisation achieve its strategic objectives, while ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, in control and in compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures.
Accountabilities
- Management of Change Projects: Ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Development and Management of Project Plans: Outlining the scope, objectives, timelines, and resource requirements for change projects.
- Communication with Stakeholders: Informing senior management, project teams, and external partners about project progress and meeting their needs and expectations.
- Management of Project Teams: Ensuring teams are properly resourced and have the necessary skills and expertise to deliver on project objectives.
- Management of Project Budgets: Ensuring projects are delivered within the agreed budget.
- Creation of Reports on Project Progress: Ensuring proposed solutions are delivered on time and within budget.
- Management of Project Risks: Identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies as necessary.
- Facilitation of Change Management Activities: Ensuring change projects are successfully implemented and embedded in the organisation.

- Resource and Budget Management: Plan resources, budgets, and policies; manage and maintain policies/processes; deliver continuous improvements and escalate breaches of policies/procedures.

Individual Contributor Responsibilities:
- Be a subject matter expert within own discipline and guide technical direction.
- Lead collaborative, multi-year assignments and guide team members through structured assignments.
- Identify the need for the inclusion of other areas of specialisation to complete assignments.
- Train, guide, and coach less experienced specialists and provide information affecting long term profits, organisational risks, and strategic decisions.

Stakeholder Management:
- Advise key stakeholders, including functional leadership teams and senior management on functional and cross-functional areas of impact and alignment.
- Manage and mitigate risks through assessment, in support of the control and governance agenda.
- Demonstrate leadership and accountability for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work your team does.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the organisation functions to contribute to achieving the goals of the business.
- Collaborate with other areas of work for business-aligned support areas to keep up to speed with business activity and the business strategies.
- Create solutions based on sophisticated analytical thought comparing and selecting complex alternatives. In-depth analysis with interpretative thinking will be required to define problems and develop innovative solutions.

TMO Implementation Lead
The TMO Implementation Lead plays a pivotal role within the Transformation Management Office (TMO), leading the successful mobilisation and execution of large-scale operating model and Enterprise Agile transformations across Barclays. Acting as the bridge between strategy and delivery, the role is responsible for developing and driving end-to-end implementation plans across people, processes, tooling, training, and governance. The coach ensures organisations are prepared for change by establishing implementation readiness, activating new ways of working, supporting operating model adoption, and aligning delivery with business priorities. Working closely with the TMO Lead, Agile Coaches, HR, Tooling and Training leads, the role also develops coaching capability, coordinates enablement activities, manages implementation risks and dependencies, and provides governance oversight. Through strong stakeholder engagement and structured execution, the Implementation Coach enables sustainable adoption of the target operating model and drives successful transformation outcomes.

Critical Skills
- Proven experience leading large-scale Agile transformation and implementation programmes from planning through to successful delivery.
- Strong ability to manage senior stakeholders and influence decision-making across complex organisations.
- Expertise in developing implementation roadmaps, governance frameworks, risk management, and delivery controls.
- Experience embedding new operating models, Agile ways of working, and sustainable change across business functions.
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional teams to deliver strategic outcomes, drive adoption, and realise business value.
Highly Valued Skills
- Experience establishing or operating within a Transformation Management Office (TMO), PMO, or enterprise change function.
- Knowledge of Agile, SAFe, product operating models, and large-scale organisational change frameworks.
- Experience with portfolio, programme, and implementation tooling such as Jira, Confluence, or equivalent delivery platforms.
- Strong data analysis and reporting skills with the ability to track implementation progress, risks, and benefits realisation.
- Professional qualifications in Project Management, Change Management, Agile Delivery, or related disciplines.
