Job Opportunity: Toolroom Technician
Red Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Toolroom Technician to join a busy manufacturing business based in the B64 area.
About the Role
This is an excellent opportunity for a technically minded individual to join an established team, working within a busy toolroom environment and producing precision tooling for manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Machining cutters ready for use on production machinery
- Assembling cutter blocks
- Producing bespoke cutters from plans and engineering drawings
- Using workshop machinery and tooling equipment
- Ensuring all work is completed accurately and to the required standard
- Carrying out quality checks on finished tooling
- Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work area
- Supporting the wider production and toolroom teams as required

Requirements
- Previous experience in a toolroom, engineering, machining or similar technical role is advantageous
- Experience working from engineering drawings and plans
- Good attention to detail and a thorough approach to work
- Strong practical and mechanical aptitude
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Positive and reliable attitude
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
