Job Description
Responsibilities
- Prepare, set up and check tools for planned production runs
- Repair, maintain and quality-check tools and dies (visual, pressure, etc.)
- Control tool movements and records
- Assess tooling at end of runs and complete Tool Service reports
- Provide technical support to the thermoforming section
- Help create and update SOPs with the Maintenance Manager
- Monitor consumable stock levels and liaise with Group/Stores as needed
- Assist with online tool changes and manage time effectively
- Work safely, maintaining all health, safety, quality and hygiene standards
- Keep the work area clean and well-organised
- Take part in continuous improvement activities
- Support, train and provide cover for colleagues when required
- Work with other departments to support managers and teams
- Follow company policies and procedures, updating systems as needed
- Carry out other reasonable duties as requested by management

Qualifications/Skills
- Competent Tool Maker/Technician with good attention to detail and good communication skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
- Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
- Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
- Proven experience in a Tool Maker/Technician role.

This is a permanent role; your hours of work will be Monday to Friday.
Salary up to £34K
