The Supervision and coordination of all work in the Tool Stores department and ensuring that the cleanliness of the complete tool stores facility is maintained.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

• The day to day Managerial responsibility for the leadership, administration and assignment of Tool Stores Personnel, leading to the satisfactory completion of all work required by Internal and External Customers, in accordance with the work specifications and/or Procedures.
• Ensuring the competence of all personnel engaged in tool stores activities by advising the Snr Operations Support Manager and Training Coordinator of any training requirements.
• The day to day overall responsibility for the Tooling inspection and calibration standards.
• Ensuring that Tooling, Hardware and Consumables are stocked and stored in compliance with the Company and Regulatory requirements.
• Liaison with the Quality and Airworthiness Supervisor / Manager in respect of Quality and Airworthiness requirements. Actioning required.
• Tooling, Hardware and Consumables stock taking, adjustments and reports.
• Ensuring control of tools requiring periodic calibration.
• Conducting receiving inspections and acceptance of all new, loan and calibrated tooling, in accordance with approved industry standards and company procedures.
• Maintaining and retaining Tooling Inspection and Calibration Records as required.
• Control the Time Expired Items in Tool Stores, ensuring that all lifed items are monitored and maintained as required.
• Carry out Employee Performance Reviews for Tool Stores Personnel.
• Carry out all Regulatory Internal and External Audit for the Tool Stores Areas.
