Toolroom Machinist
Job Type: Permanent
Location: Blackpool, England, North West
Salary: Circa £35000 per annum + Dependant on experience
Are you a Machinist looking for your next permanent job in Blackpool? Have you got experience setting up and operating Milling, Turning and Grinding Machines? Is working a 4 day week, Monday to Thursday (36 hours) days be something that you are after? Would a salary of circa £35000 be suitable for you? Is a straight to permanent position working days only something you are looking for? Do you have substantial experience of all toolroom machinery? If you have answered "yes" to all the above questions then this position may be right for you. Responsibilities
- Set up and operate manual milling, turning and grinding machines
- Manufacture precision components to drawings and instructions
- Provide engineering support to the Production and Press Shop departments.
- Assist all areas of the Works Engineering department when required.
- Liaise with supervisor on maintenance issues and with work schedules.
- Be flexible with working hours, at times additional hours may be required to complete projects.

Requirements
I am looking for suitable, reliable person to start this job, ideal candidates will be motivated, have attention to detail, be disciplined, have excellent communication and organisational skills, a supportive team player, the ability to work under pressure and using your own initiative.
