Toolroom Machinist
Location: Blackpool, England, North West
Job Type: Permanent
Are you a Machinist looking for your next permanent job in Blackpool? Have you got experience setting up and operating Milling, Turning, and Grinding Machines? Is working a 4-day week, Monday to Thursday (36 hours) days something that you are after? Would a salary of circa £35000 be suitable for you? As a Toolroom machinist you will be doing the following:
- Set up and operate manual milling, turning, and grinding machines
- Manufacture precision components to drawings and instructions
- Provide engineering support to the Production and Press Shop departments
- Assist all areas of the Works Engineering department when required
- Liaise with supervisor on maintenance issues and with work schedules
- Be flexible with working hours, at times additional hours may be required to complete projects
