A leading international law firm is seeking a 1-3 PQE Associate to join its growing Private Funds team in London.

The team has a strong reputation advising private equity sponsors, asset managers and investors across the establishment, structuring and operation of private investment funds.

Role Overview

The role will offer broad exposure to transactional private funds work, including:

  • The establishment and structuring of closed-ended investment funds
  • Drafting and negotiating fund documentation and investor side letters
  • Supporting fundraising processes
  • Advising on ongoing fund matters

You will work closely with colleagues across tax, financial services regulatory, corporate, and other specialist teams on a range of domestic and international matters.

Requirements

The team is particularly interested in candidates with:

  • Strong private funds experience gained at an international or leading UK or regional firm
  • Ideally, experience of closed-ended private funds
  • Strong academics
  • A genuine interest in business and commerce
  • A commercially minded approach
  • The ability to work collaboratively and build strong client relationships
