Job Description

The Total Rewards Partner

The Total Rewards Partner is responsible for shaping, developing and delivering the Total Rewards strategy across the Portfolio Brands within H&M Group. The Portfolio Brands are COS, Weekday, & Other Stories, ARKET and Singular Society.

Reporting to the Head of People for the Portfolio Brands, this role serves as the subject matter expert for all Total Rewards matters and acts as a trusted adviser to Brand Managing Directors, HR Directors and senior business leaders, as well as HR Managers and specialist partners. The position is accountable for ensuring that reward frameworks, compensation practices, governance standards and compliance requirements are aligned with business priorities, legal obligations and the broader H&M Group direction.

Operating within a highly collaborative and matrixed organisation, this role combines strategic leadership with hands-on delivery. Success in the position depends on building trusted partnerships across all levels of the business, from Store Managers and Area HR Managers to C-Suite teams, as well as with key external stakeholders. Through strong influence, collaboration and expert guidance, the role drives consistency, governance and best practice across the Portfolio Brands, ensuring reward strategies support sustainable business growth, organisational effectiveness and an exceptional employee experience.

What You Will Do

  • Define and continuously develop the PB reward agenda.
  • Secure alignment with H&M Group reward principles and governance.
  • Develop reward frameworks, guidelines and ways of working.
  • Ensure rewards practices support business strategy and organisational objectives.
  • Lead salary review processes.
  • Support leaders and HR teams with compensation decisions.
  • Manage job evaluations, classifications and grading structures.
  • Secure consistency and competitiveness across markets.
  • Lead implementation and continuous development of pay transparency requirements.
  • Track market trends, benchmarking, and reward best practices.
  • Deliver workforce and compensation analytics to generate actionable insights.
  • Provide strategic recommendations and reporting to support business decision-making.
  • Build reward knowledge among HR teams and leaders.

Who You'll Work With

In this role, you will be part of a Portfolio Brands People Centre of Expertise, working alongside Talent Management, Learning & Development, Employer Branding and Talent Acquisition partners, all reporting to the Head of People for the Portfolio Brands. Together, this team is responsible for shaping and delivering the people agenda across the Portfolio Brands, drawing on external market insights, H&M Group direction and input from each brand’s leadership team.

Qualifications

  • Experience within Total Rewards, Compensation & Benefits or Reward Management, working in an international and matrix organisation.
  • Experience managing reward programmes across multiple markets and multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience implementing governance, policies and compliance frameworks and advising senior leaders and HR partners.
  • Experience with EU Pay Transparency implementation (Preferred).
  • Knowledge of compensation philosophy and structure, market benchmarking, job architecture and grading methodologies, Incentive design.
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to lead through influence, navigate complexity and drive change across all levels of the organisation without direct authority.
