About the Position
We are looking for a Total Rewards Manager. This position is based in our office at 4th Floor, 15 Sackville Street, London W1S 3DJ.
The Manager Compensation plays a pivotal role in leading our compensation strategy and ensuring that our pay practices are competitive, equitable, and aligned with our company’s objectives. This role involves overseeing the design, implementation, and administration of Marelli’s compensation programs, including base pay, incentive pay, and equity plans. The role requires a strategic thinker, with a deep understanding of global compensation trends and the ability to apply them within Marelli to attract, motivate, and retain top talent.
Responsibilities
- Program Design and Management: Oversee the creation and management of compensation programs, including salary structure, incentive schemes, and equity plans that are competitive and consistent.
- Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive benchmarking analyses and surveys to inform compensation decisions and maintain Marelli’s competitive edge in the market.
- Compliance and Governance: Ensure all compensation programs are in compliance with governmental laws and regulations across all regions Marelli operates in.
- Collaboration and Advisory: Serve as the key compensation consultant to leadership and HR business partners, providing expert advice and recommendations on pay decisions, policy interpretations, and job evaluations.
- Analytics and Reporting: Utilize data and analytics to report on compensation metrics and insights, driving informed decision-making and reporting to senior management.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Lead the development and execution of Marelli’s compensation strategy, ensuring it supports our business goals and complies with legal requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a closely related field.
- Minimum Experience: 5 years of progressive experience in Compensation, with at least 3 years in a management role, preferably in a similar industry.
- Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and deep knowledge of compensation planning, strategy, and tax regulations. Should be proficient with HRIS systems and data analysis tools.
Other Skills Welcomed
- Working knowledge and experience of European Pay Transparency
- Deep knowledge and understanding of both Short and Long-Term Incentive Plans
- Previous experience of a business owned by Private Equity would be ideal

- Successfully design and implement innovative compensation programs that are well-received by employees and recognized for equity and competitiveness.
- Achieve a noticeable improvement in employee satisfaction with compensation, as measured by employee surveys.
- Enhance the efficiency and accuracy of compensation processes and reporting, setting a benchmark for operational excellence in compensation management.
- Develop and mentor a high-performing compensation team known for its expertise and strategic contribution to Marelli’s success.
