The opportunity
Our client is a large high-growth business services group that is adopting Totalmobile as its core field service management platform.
We are looking for a very experienced, hands-on Totalmobile technical expert to sit at the heart of the delivery team. You will configure the platform and guide a team of developers as they migrate from Microsoft Dynamics onto Totalmobile.
This is a technical role, not a project management or product ownership position. It suits a senior functional consultant or developer who has configured Totalmobile before.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the technical configuration of Totalmobile Mobilise, the configured mobile field application.
- Act as the senior technical authority for a multi-skilled development team covering business systems, field service, and client integration.
- Guide and cross-skill developers moving from Microsoft Dynamics onto Totalmobile.
- Support Totalmobile Connect, the API-based integration with client and finance systems, working alongside specialist partners where needed.
- Take an active part in build and configuration, not only advice.
- Support the initial go-lives and the ramp-up that follows, including onboarding of newly acquired businesses onto the platform.
- Ability to build and lead a small Totalmobile COE team as the Group grows.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
