We are looking for a friendly, organised, and customer-focused Tour Coordinator with an interest in travel, tourism, destinations, and tour planning.
In this role, you will assist with coordinating tours, travel arrangements, customer enquiries, tour information, and related travel activities. You will help organise information and support customers throughout different stages of their tour planning and travel experience.
You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of travel products, including tour packages, hotels and accommodation, tourist attractions, local experiences, city tours, outdoor activities, themed tours, seasonal travel products, and other travel-related services.
This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy travel, customer service, organisation, tour planning, destination research, communication, and learning about different tourism markets, particularly those looking for a flexible remote working arrangement.
π― Key Responsibilities
- Assist with coordinating tour-related enquiries and provide relevant travel information.
- Understand customer preferences, interests, travel dates, budgets, and general requirements.
- Assist with organising suitable tours, destinations, accommodation, attractions, activities, and travel experiences.
- Research different tour options and provide clear and relevant information.
- Help customers compare suitable tours and travel products based on their needs and preferences.
- Assist with coordinating tour schedules, activities, travel information, and customer requirements.
- Prepare and organise tour information, itineraries, options, and relevant documents.
- Provide accurate information regarding destinations, tour products, accommodation, activities, and travel arrangements.
- Respond to customer questions through appropriate communication channels.
- Follow up with customers regarding tour enquiries, requested information, and outstanding requirements.
- Assist with booking-related enquiries, changes, amendments, cancellations, and special requests where applicable.
- Maintain accurate and organised customer, tour, and travel-related records.
- Review tour and travel product information to ensure recommendations and information are accurate and up to date.
- Stay informed about changes to relevant destinations, tours, seasonal offers, travel conditions, and activities.
- Communicate with appropriate team members, tour operators, hotels, activity providers, or travel suppliers when additional information is required.
- Assist with coordinating changes or updates to tour arrangements where applicable.
- Complete assigned daily tour coordination tasks accurately and within the required timeframe.

Your work may include helping to:

- Assist customers in finding tours and travel experiences that match their interests and preferences.

- Present tour and travel information in a clear and easy-to-understand way.

- Support customers during different stages of the tour planning process.

The main focus of this position is to support tour planning, coordinate travel-related information and activities, understand customer requirements, and help ensure that tour arrangements are organised effectively. The role combines customer service, tour coordination, destination knowledge, travel planning, and communication.

Tour Coordinators may also support travel companies by staying informed about new tours, destinations, seasonal offers, activities, and relevant promotional activities.
Your work may include:
- Keeping up to date with new tours, travel products, and destinations.
- Understanding seasonal tour offers and relevant promotions.
- Assisting with organising tour information and itineraries.
- Helping customers discover new destinations and travel experiences.
- Providing accurate information about promotional tours and travel products.
- Supporting seasonal tour campaigns when appropriate.
- Coordinating information relating to different tour products and customer requirements.
- Assisting with communication between customers, tour operators, hotels, activity providers, and travel suppliers.
- Following up on outstanding tour-related requests.
- Supporting updates to tour schedules, itineraries, and travel information.
- Maintaining accurate records of tour arrangements and customer requirements.

This is a remote position with flexible working arrangements.

Previous experience in any of the following areas would be an advantage, but is not essential:
