Role Description

The position of Live Nation Tour Marketing Manager EMEA is a key role focused on multi-market planning and cross-market coordination, as part of the Live Nation International Touring Team. Working closely with all divisions of the Live Nation EMEA and International teams this position will report to the International Marketing Director and work directly with multiple international markets, support our promoters, artists and show teams and be responsible for the management, guiding and communication of multi-market marketing plans, information and reporting.

The International Touring team is a small department that sits within the Live Nation business. A diverse group of individuals, made up of promoters, marketing, ticketing, finance and production – the team all share the same passion for promoting world-class shows with some of the biggest artists in the world as well as emerging acts we are working to develop.

Who You Are

This is an exciting role for an experienced marketer that has a passion for driving industry leading marketing, with an entrepreneurial spirit, team player approach and digital media and marketing expertise. Working closely with teams across various geographies, languages and cultures, the successful candidate can apply project management, communication, organisation, and self-initiative skills. And you also need to be a competent strategic thinker with outstanding project management skills and thinking.

Competencies / Skills / Knowledge / Experience

  • Proven show / tour marketing experience at an executive level within the live music, ticketing or events industry.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects to completion under concurrent, rigorous deadlines in a fast-paced dynamic environment with evidence of commercial accountability.
  • Experience in managing and working within large teams and influencing internal and external stakeholders both vertically and horizontally.
  • Digital savvy, especially in social media and digital trends.
  • Knowledge or experience working across PR, including, press releases, briefs and relations.
  • You should be able to demonstrate an interest, understanding and ability to respond to consumer markets, trends and consumer needs.
  • The ability to communicate and present information clearly and concisely and attention to detail.
  • Experience working with Adobe Photoshop not essential but is advantageous.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, in particular Microsoft Excel.

What The Role Includes

  • Supporting the International Marketing Director in the day-to-day management of international tours.
  • Working with the Local Marketing Teams to deliver our campaigns with an emphasis on digital marketing.
  • Create, monitor and adjust advertising budgets as needed.
  • Developing detailed briefs for international promoters and marketing teams to produce industry-leading campaigns.
  • Track and analyse marketing budgets and performance on multiple projects.
  • Working with internal stakeholders to understand campaign objectives to then deliver campaigns on time and on budget and ROI.
  • Helping to build and provide measurements associated with the performance of all campaigns and ensuring the results and learning’s drive future campaigns.
  • Offer creative recommendations, based on campaign performance, and offer solutions to improve outcomes.
  • Plan, organize and deliver presentations and artist pitches if and when needed.
  • Communicating with internal stakeholders and third parties, including working directly with agencies and partners.
  • Collate all tour marketing assets to review and submit to external stakeholders for approval.
  • Coordinate and arrange international touring on sale schedules.
  • Work closely with the ticketing team to identify opportunities to maximise sales.
  • Coordinate pre-show/day of show press with independent publicists and managers for Live Nation concerts.
