We’re looking for a highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented Tour Operations Executive to support the planning, coordination, and delivery of smooth and memorable travel experiences. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about travel and tourism and enjoys coordinating suppliers, managing itineraries, solving operational issues, and ensuring customers receive excellent service.

You’ll work closely with tour operators, hotels, transport providers, guides, attractions, customers, and internal teams to ensure travel arrangements are delivered accurately and efficiently.

🎯 Key Responsibilities

  • Support the planning and coordination of tours, holidays, excursions, and travel programmes
  • Coordinate bookings and arrangements with hotels, transport providers, tour guides, attractions, restaurants, and other suppliers
  • Prepare and maintain detailed tour itineraries, schedules, booking records, and operational documents
  • Confirm travel arrangements, availability, services, and supplier requirements
  • Monitor tour schedules and ensure all operational arrangements are delivered on time
  • Communicate with suppliers and partners to resolve booking or service issues
  • Provide operational support before, during, and after customer trips
  • Handle amendments, cancellations, changes, and special customer requirements
  • Coordinate transfers, accommodation, activities, excursions, and other travel services
  • Ensure customers and relevant teams receive accurate itineraries, confirmations, and travel information
  • Monitor operational risks, potential disruptions, and changes to travel arrangements
  • Escalate and resolve urgent operational issues promptly and professionally
  • Maintain accurate supplier, customer, booking, and tour records
  • Support the development and improvement of tour products, itineraries, and operational processes
  • Monitor customer feedback and identify opportunities to improve tour quality and service delivery
  • Work closely with Sales, Travel Consultants, Product, Marketing, and Customer Service teams
  • Stay up to date with destinations, suppliers, travel regulations, seasonal conditions, and tourism industry developments

✅ Requirements

  • Entry-Level / Junior / Associate (0–3+ years of experience)
  • Previous experience in tour operations, travel, tourism, hospitality, customer service, or administration is a plus
  • Strong passion for travel and tourism
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to coordinate multiple bookings, suppliers, schedules, and deadlines
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable communicating with suppliers, customers, and internal teams
  • Familiarity with travel booking systems, CRM platforms, or tour operating systems is a plus
  • Knowledge of UK and international travel destinations is advantageous
  • Ability to remain calm and organised when handling last-minute changes or operational issues
  • Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
  • Based in the United Kingdom with the legal right to work in the UK
