🛠️ We’re Hiring: Tour Operations Executive
📍 Remote (United Kingdom)
🕒 Full-Time
💼 Level: Entry-Level / Junior / Associate
💰 Base Salary: £3,000+ per month
We’re looking for a highly organised, detail-oriented, and proactive Tour Operations Executive to support the planning, coordination, and delivery of smooth and memorable tour experiences. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about travel, tourism, tour operations, logistics, and customer experience, and who enjoys coordinating multiple suppliers, itineraries, bookings, and operational details in a fast-paced environment.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning and coordination of tours, holidays, excursions, and travel experiences
- Coordinate tour itineraries, schedules, bookings, transportation, accommodation, activities, and other travel services
- Liaise with hotels, airlines, tour operators, transport providers, guides, attractions, restaurants, and local suppliers
- Assist with confirming and managing supplier reservations and service arrangements
- Prepare and maintain accurate tour itineraries, booking documents, schedules, vouchers, and operational information
- Coordinate pre-departure arrangements and ensure customers receive accurate and timely travel information
- Monitor tour bookings, availability, confirmations, amendments, cancellations, and operational requirements
- Communicate with customers, suppliers, tour leaders, guides, and internal teams regarding tour arrangements
- Assist with resolving operational issues, schedule changes, supplier concerns, and customer requests
- Coordinate special requirements, including transfers, accessibility needs, dietary requests, activities, and other customer preferences
- Monitor tour operations and identify potential issues before departure
- Support the organisation of group tours, familiarisation trips, events, and special travel programmes
- Maintain accurate supplier databases, booking records, operational files, and internal systems
- Assist with costings, supplier rates, quotations, invoices, and tour budgets where required
- Monitor customer feedback and identify opportunities to improve tour quality and operational efficiency
- Prepare operational reports and support management with tour performance information
- Stay up to date with destinations, tourism developments, travel regulations, supplier changes, and industry trends

✅ Requirements
- Entry-Level / Junior / Associate with 0–3+ years of experience
- Degree, diploma, or equivalent practical experience in Travel, Tourism, Hospitality, Business, Operations, or a related field is a plus
- Strong interest in tourism, travel operations, logistics, and customer experience
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
- Strong organisational and time-management abilities
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong coordination, problem-solving, and follow-up skills
- Ability to manage multiple bookings, suppliers, itineraries, and deadlines simultaneously
- Comfortable communicating with customers, suppliers, and travel industry partners
- Familiarity with travel booking systems, CRM platforms, GDS systems, or tour operator software is a plus
- Basic understanding of accommodation, transportation, tours, excursions, and travel services is advantageous
- Ability to remain calm and organised when dealing with last-minute changes or operational issues
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
- Willingness to occasionally support travel trade events, supplier meetings, or operational activities outside standard hours when required
- Based in the United Kingdom with the legal right to work in the UK
