Are you passionate about golf equipment and excited by the prospect of life on tour with TaylorMade?

Every week on tour, players trust TaylorMade equipment to perform when it matters most. That trust is built not only on innovative product design, but also on the expertise, service and support that our athletes receive wherever they compete.

As a Tour Technician, you'll report to the European Tour Manager and hold a key role, working directly with players, caddies and Tour Representatives to deliver expert club building, equipment optimisation and event support. You'll build, modify and maintain equipment to exacting standards and ensure athletes receive the highest levels of performance and service. From the workshop to the TaylorMade Tour Support Vehicle, you'll play a key role in our tour operations, travelling extensively throughout Europe to support DP World Tour events, elite amateur competitions and selected retail activations.

  • Gathering athlete feedback and sharing insights on equipment performance and product trends.
  • Working closely with Sports Marketing colleagues to support event delivery and athlete servicing.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who combines technical expertise and a customer-focused mindset with a genuine passion for golf and a desire to travel.

You will ideally have:

  • Proven club building experience and strong knowledge of golf equipment assembly, repairs and modifications.

  • A strong appreciation of the professional and amateur golf landscape.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
  • A single-figure handicap or equivalent understanding of golf equipment performance.
  • Experience supporting professional athletes or working within a tour environment would be advantageous but is not essential.

A role built around travel

This is not a traditional workshop-based role. A significant part of this position involves supporting athletes and events across Europe. Successful candidates must be comfortable with frequent travel, regular overnight stays and working weekends and unsociable hours during tournament and event periods.
