Job Overview

We are looking for a creative and analytical Tourism Digital Marketing Specialist to support digital marketing strategies and online promotional activities across the travel and tourism sector.

The successful candidate will help manage digital campaigns, develop engaging content, analyse online performance, and support initiatives designed to increase destination awareness, visitor engagement, leads, and bookings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns for tourism and travel products.
  • Manage promotional activities across social media, search engines, websites, email, and other digital channels.
  • Create engaging content for tourism websites, social media, blogs, newsletters, and digital campaigns.
  • Conduct research into travel trends, target audiences, search behaviour, and competitor activity.
  • Support SEO, PPC, social media marketing, email marketing, and content marketing activities.
  • Monitor website traffic, engagement, leads, conversions, and other digital performance metrics.
  • Analyse campaign data and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Prepare digital marketing reports, dashboards, and performance insights.
  • Assist with paid advertising campaigns and ongoing campaign optimisation.
  • Coordinate with content, creative, tourism, sales, and partnership teams.
  • Maintain content calendars, campaign records, and digital marketing materials.
  • Identify emerging digital platforms, technologies, and tourism marketing opportunities.
  • Support continuous testing and optimisation of digital marketing strategies.

Requirements

  • Interest in digital marketing, tourism, travel, communications, or a related field.
  • Good understanding of digital marketing principles.
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Creative approach to content and digital campaigns.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Good organisational and time-management skills.
  • Comfortable working with digital platforms and marketing data.
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns and meet deadlines.
  • Previous digital marketing or tourism experience is beneficial but not essential.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads, TikTok, or other advertising platforms.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics and Search Console.
  • Knowledge of SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing, and conversion optimisation.
  • Experience with Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools.
  • Familiarity with WordPress or other content management systems.
  • Experience with CRM or marketing automation platforms.
  • Knowledge of travel agencies, tour operators, hotels, attractions, airlines, or destination marketing is advantageous.
