Job Overview
We are seeking a creative and organised Tourism Event Producer to support the planning, coordination, and delivery of events and experiences within the travel and tourism sector. The successful candidate will help manage tourism events, promotional programmes, destination activities, exhibitions, conferences, workshops, and visitor experiences while coordinating with suppliers, partners, venues, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate tourism events, promotional activities, exhibitions, and visitor experiences.
- Support the development of event concepts, schedules, budgets, and production plans.
- Coordinate venues, suppliers, contractors, speakers, performers, and tourism partners.
- Manage event timelines, logistics, documentation, and operational requirements.
- Liaise with hotels, attractions, travel businesses, destination partners, and external suppliers.
- Support event marketing, communications, and promotional campaigns.
- Assist with registration, guest management, attendee communications, and event materials.
- Monitor event budgets, expenses, supplier costs, and purchase requirements.
- Conduct site visits and assist with event setup and on-site coordination when required.
- Resolve operational issues and respond to last-minute event requirements.
- Collect attendee feedback and evaluate event performance.
- Prepare post-event reports and recommendations for future activities.
- Maintain accurate event records, schedules, supplier information, and project documentation.

Requirements
- Interest in tourism, travel, events, marketing, hospitality, or project coordination.
- Strong organisational and planning skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good problem-solving and multitasking skills.
- Ability to manage deadlines and coordinate multiple activities.
- Confident working with suppliers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Good computer skills, including Microsoft Office or equivalent tools.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Previous event, tourism, hospitality, or project coordination experience is beneficial but not essential.

Preferred Skills
- Experience coordinating events, exhibitions, conferences, festivals, or tourism programmes.
- Familiarity with event management and registration platforms.
- Basic budgeting and cost-tracking experience.
- Knowledge of UK tourism and destination events.
- Experience with event marketing, social media, or promotional campaigns.
- Experience working with venues, hotels, attractions, tour operators, or tourism organisations is advantageous.
