Tourism Marketing Coordinator
Employment Type: Full-Time
Level: Entry-Level to Mid-Level
We are seeking an organized, creative, and proactive Tourism Marketing Coordinator to support the planning and execution of tourism marketing campaigns and promotional activities. This role will coordinate marketing projects, content production, industry partnerships, and events to increase awareness and engagement for tourism destinations, attractions, and travel experiences.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate tourism marketing campaigns across digital, social media, email, and offline channels.
- Assist in developing promotional plans for destinations, attractions, tourism products, and travel experiences.
- Conduct basic market research on visitor behavior, travel trends, target audiences, and competitors.
- Coordinate the creation and distribution of marketing content, including social media posts, website content, brochures, newsletters, and promotional materials.
- Maintain content calendars and coordinate campaign schedules and deliverables.
- Liaise with hotels, attractions, tour operators, travel agencies, tourism boards, media, and other industry partners.
- Coordinate tourism events, exhibitions, roadshows, trade fairs, familiarization trips, and promotional activities.
- Support influencer, media, and content-creator collaborations.
- Coordinate with agencies, designers, photographers, videographers, and other external vendors.
- Monitor social media engagement, website traffic, campaign performance, and other marketing KPIs.
- Prepare campaign reports, presentations, meeting materials, and marketing documentation.
- Maintain marketing databases, contact lists, promotional assets, and campaign records.
- Assist the marketing team with administrative and operational tasks to ensure campaigns are delivered on schedule.

✅ Requirements
- Experience in tourism, hospitality, travel, marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills.
- Good understanding of digital marketing and social media platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative mindset with an interest in tourism, travel, and destination promotion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Canva, Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, or similar tools is an advantage.
- Good attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Basic understanding of marketing analytics and campaign reporting.
- Willingness to travel or attend tourism events when required.
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Marketing, Tourism Management, Hospitality, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
