We are looking for a friendly, organised, detail-oriented, and responsible Tourism Officer with an interest in travel, tourism, destinations, tourism development, visitor experiences, customer requirements, and travel planning.
In this role, you will support the coordination and organisation of tourism-related activities, destination information, visitor requirements, tourism products, promotional initiatives, and administrative tasks. You will work with different types of tourism information and help ensure that assigned tourism activities and tasks are organised, communicated, and completed accurately and within the required timeframe.
You will have the opportunity to work with a variety of tourism-related products and services, including holiday packages, hotels and accommodation, tourist attractions, local experiences, cultural activities, city breaks, outdoor activities, themed tourism experiences, seasonal tourism products, promotional activities, destination initiatives, and other travel and tourism-related services.

π― Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the coordination and organisation of assigned tourism-related activities and projects.
- Support the planning, preparation, and implementation of tourism-related tasks and initiatives.
- Organise tourism information, schedules, requirements, activities, and relevant documentation.
- Monitor assigned tasks and ensure that tourism-related activities are completed within the required timeframe.
- Coordinate information between visitors, customers, team members, tourism partners, suppliers, and other relevant parties where applicable.
- Collect, review, and organise destination, tourism product, accommodation, attraction, and visitor information.
- Assist with researching destinations, accommodation, tourist attractions, cultural sites, activities, events, and travel experiences.
- Prepare tourism-related information, operational updates, summaries, reports, and recommendations.
- Maintain accurate and organised tourism, customer, destination, and operational records.
- Track tourism-related requirements, deadlines, updates, and outstanding tasks.
- Follow up on assigned activities and communicate progress when required.
- Assist with tourism-related bookings, changes, amendments, cancellations, and special requests where applicable.
- Review tourism product and destination information to ensure that details remain accurate and up to date.
- Support the coordination of seasonal tourism activities, promotional campaigns, destination initiatives, and new tourism products.
- Communicate with appropriate team members, tourism partners, accommodation providers, attractions, activity providers, and other relevant suppliers when additional information or clarification is required.
- Identify missing information or outstanding requirements and follow up appropriately.
- Assist with resolving routine tourism-related operational and visitor-service issues.
- Complete assigned daily tourism and administrative tasks accurately and within the required timeframe.

π€ Tourism Coordination & Visitor Support
The role focuses on organising tourism-related activities, coordinating information, supporting visitors and relevant stakeholders, and ensuring that assigned tourism initiatives and activities are completed efficiently and accurately.
Your work may include helping to:
- Organise tourism activities, schedules, requirements, and supporting information.
- Coordinate information between different parties involved in tourism activities.
- Keep destination, tourism product, visitor, and operational information accurate, organised, and easy to access.
- Monitor deadlines and follow up on outstanding tourism-related tasks.
- Research suitable destinations, tourism products, accommodation, attractions, events, and experiences.
- Assist with preparing tourism plans, destination information, operational documents, and supporting materials.
- Coordinate changes to tourism arrangements or visitor requirements where applicable.
- Provide updates regarding tourism activities, projects, and outstanding requirements.
- Identify alternative tourism products, attractions, accommodation, or activities when an original option is unavailable.
- Support the implementation of new tourism products and seasonal tourism initiatives.
- Maintain professional communication with visitors, customers, colleagues, tourism partners, and relevant suppliers.
- Ensure that assigned tourism activities are completed according to instructions and requirements.
The main focus of this position is to support the planning, coordination, organisation, communication, and development of tourism-related activities and services. The role combines tourism coordination, destination research, visitor support, communication, organisation, information management, customer requirements, and tourism industry knowledge.

π£ Tourism Promotion & Destination Support
Tourism Officers may also support tourism organisations and companies with the coordination of new tourism products, seasonal initiatives, promotional activities, destination-related projects, and visitor engagement activities.
Your work may include:
- Supporting the preparation of new tourism product projects.
- Coordinating information required for seasonal tourism campaigns.
- Organising promotional tourism product information.
- Researching new destinations, attractions, events, and tourism experiences.
- Supporting the introduction of new tourism products and services.
- Preparing tourism materials and internal information.
- Tracking tourism-related tasks and deadlines.
- Coordinating updates between relevant team members and tourism partners.

Previous experience in any of the following areas would be an advantage, but is not essential:
- Travel / Tourism / Hospitality / Tourism Operations / Project Coordination / Customer Service / Marketing / Digital Marketing / E-commerce / Business / Operations / Administration / Media
