Towbar & Service Technician
Milngavie, Glasgow
High Level Spec
- Competitive salary.
- Monthly bonus scheme.
- 33 days annual leave including Bank Holidays.
- Basic hours 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday (37½ hours) per week.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Undertake daily duties as designated by the Branch Team and Workshop diary.
- Fit towbars to Customer vehicles.
- Service and repair Customer trailers.
- Service and repair the Company’s fleet of hire trailers to an agreed schedule.
- Maintain and update full records of each trailer in the Company hire fleet for servicing purposes.
- Ensure all towbar fits and trailer services/repairs are completed in an acceptable timeframe and quality.
- Keep up to date with any changes to suppliers’ towbar fitting instructions including wiring via the Branch Network and use of the internet/intranet.
- Assemble and modify trailers as required.
- Ascertain faults and provide technical advice as required.
- Be fully conversant with all Company systems/procedures.
- Hold a current, valid UK driving licence.
