Planner

Location: South West (Bristol or Cardiff office)
Salary: Competitive
Type: Full-time

The Opportunity

We are seeking a Planner to join a growing and collaborative Planning team in the South West. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated planning professional looking to develop their career while working on a diverse range of projects across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage planning applications, appeals, and development proposals.
  • Provide planning advice to clients across a variety of sectors.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and local authorities.
  • Support business development activities and help identify new opportunities.
  • Contribute to project delivery, ensuring high-quality technical outputs.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider business.

About You

  • MRTPI qualified or working towards chartership.
  • Experience within a planning consultancy, local authority, or developer environment.
  • Strong technical planning knowledge and report-writing skills.
  • Good understanding of the South West planning market and policy environment.
  • Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Proactive, commercially aware, and keen to develop professionally.
