Town Planner Manchester
Salary: GBP35,000/GBP40,000
Penguin Recruitment are currently working with a well established and growing planning consultancy based in Manchester, who are looking to appoint a Town Planner to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a planner looking to develop their career within a consultancy focused on strategic land, residential, commercial and renewable energy projects, gaining exposure to a varied range of planning work and working alongside experienced professionals.
The Role
- Supporting the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals
- Undertaking planning research and providing planning advice
- Assisting with a variety of residential, commercial, strategic land and renewable energy projects
- Working collaboratively with clients, consultants and planning authorities
- Developing your professional and commercial planning skills

Requirements
- RTPI:accredited planning degree
- Strong research and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and organisational abilities
- A proactive, adaptable and creative approach
- Motivation to learn and develop within consultancy
- Professional and collaborative attitude
