Town Planner Manchester

Salary: GBP35,000/GBP40,000

Penguin Recruitment are currently working with a well established and growing planning consultancy based in Manchester, who are looking to appoint a Town Planner to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a planner looking to develop their career within a consultancy focused on strategic land, residential, commercial and renewable energy projects, gaining exposure to a varied range of planning work and working alongside experienced professionals.

The Role

  • Supporting the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals
  • Undertaking planning research and providing planning advice
  • Assisting with a variety of residential, commercial, strategic land and renewable energy projects
  • Working collaboratively with clients, consultants and planning authorities
  • Developing your professional and commercial planning skills

Requirements

  • RTPI:accredited planning degree
  • Strong research and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and organisational abilities
  • A proactive, adaptable and creative approach
  • Motivation to learn and develop within consultancy
