Service Team Operative Opportunities
Our Service Team Operative opportunities are ideal to kickstart your career within a well-established and highly successful Global organisation. We also offer career development with full exam and study support, promotional opportunities and a fully inclusive culture.
Our modern contemporary offices are in the heart of Milton Keynes, just a two-minute walk from the MK Centre and are well served by public transport. There’s also great facilities such as a coffee shop on site and comfortable break out zones, as well as a well-equipped kitchen area with free snacks too.
Responsibilities
You’ll be supporting our valued clients as the first point of call when they have an insurance claim. These can range from road traffic accidents, uninsured loss recovery, third party interventions, personal injury, key theft and property damage to name a few. Some of these terms may be familiar to you and we’ll also provide the training to ensure you’re confident in answering questions of a technical nature.
Within your role, you’ll be taking calls from the insured, making sure you capture all of the relevant information about their claim on our systems. You’ll also be working in partnership with your colleagues in specialist areas of the business depending upon the nature of each claim, sharing information with them so that the claim can progress as quickly as possible.
It’s essential that you’ll put yourself in the shoes of the policy holder, appreciate each situation differently by establishing the facts, explaining your questioning and remaining professional throughout the call.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
