Job Summary
Lead a track delivery team overseeing the on-site operations of track works as remitted by the client ensuring planned volumes are delivered in a safe and timely manner.
Job Responsibilities
- Safely lead a track delivery team in the production of planned site works
- Conduct daily/nightly site briefings clearly detailing all safety and operational risks
- Supervise the on-site operations ensuring all planned volumes are met in a safe and timely manner
- Compile accurate and clear end of shift reports to be distributed to all relevant parties understanding all reporting and on-call procedures
- Be able to identify risks and hazards on the railway network understanding all reporting processes
- Liaise with the client when required in the planning, delivery and closing out of works
- Be able to understand and follow remits and designs ensuring works are delivered accurately
- Assess and manage risks within own remit
- Work proactively to predict and prevent accidents and incidents arising
- Lead by example, encouraging a healthy and positive environment for other members of the team to prosper

Job Qualifications
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Extensive knowledge of maintenance and repair of Slabtrack
- Experience of Track Renewals and associated works (Plain Line and S&C)
- Demonstrated ability to manage teams and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- SSSTS competency
- First Aid
- Valid UK driving licence
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required by project schedules
