Job Description

Do you have a passion for engaging with customers and building relationships with businesses? If so, this could be the role for you! We have a fantastic opportunity to work for CPM as a Brand Ambassador representing Stanley Black & Decker (DeWalt), one of the world’s leading providers for power tools and power tool accessories! Earn £32k plus 10% bonus STC + company van. Permanent, full time, 37.5 hours per week.

Ideal location: Maidstone, United Kingdom, ME14

Territory covering: South East London, Kent and East Sussex, including areas such as Croydon, Bromley, Dartford, Maidstone, Canterbury, Dover, Eastbourne, Medway, Tunbridge Wells and surrounding locations.

Please note that this is a field-based role involving significant travel, including regular national travel. Regular overnight stays will form part of the role, particularly around trade shows, exhibitions and key customer events. Some flexibility may also be required to cover weekend events, which may include high-profile national events. Some calls and events require early starts to allow for travel.

You will be provided with a company van which you will need to be able to park securely at or near your home address. Due to the tools, equipment carried as part of the role, the van cannot remain fully loaded overnight at home. You will therefore be required to regularly visit designated storage units to load and unload equipment from the van as required.

What will you be doing as a Brand Ambassador?

  • Visiting builders' merchants, electrical wholesalers and specialist trade outlets throughout your territory as the ambassador for Stanley and DeWalt products, raising awareness and driving engagement with both trade counter staff and professional end users.
  • Positively influence the distribution, availability, and visibility of all SBD products, working closely with branch teams to maximise opportunities, maintain strong product presence and support local sales initiatives.
  • Actively demonstrating Stanley Black & Decker products live, explaining their features and benefits and engaging trade professionals and end users with the brands.
  • Delivering live product demonstrations at trade shows, exhibitions, customer trade days and outside independent trade retailers, confidently showcasing the products to groups and individual customers. (Including products such as circular saws, SDS, angle grinders and more)
  • Delivering clear and engaging training to branch teams and end users, ensuring Stanley Black & Decker and DeWalt remain brands of choice within the trade sector.
  • Attending and supporting key trade events, exhibitions and customer trade days throughout the year, which will include extensive travel, regular overnight stays and occasional weekend working.
  • Regularly loading and unloading tools, products, merchandise and demonstration equipment from designated storage units into your company van in preparation for visits and events.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
