Trade Counter & Stores Coordinator

Pneutrol International Limited is looking for a Trade Counter & Stores Coordinator to join our team in Antrim.

This is a varied, hands-on role combining customer service, sales support, stock control and day-to-day stores operations. You’ll be a key point of contact for our customers and suppliers while helping ensure orders, stock and deliveries are managed efficiently.

Pneutrol International Limited is a family-owned company specialising in the design and delivery of high-quality bespoke control systems, primarily for the concrete industry.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing excellent customer service at the trade counter, by telephone and via email
  • Assisting customers with product enquiries, quotations, pricing and orders
  • Processing customer orders accurately using Sage
  • Managing the day-to-day operation of the trade counter
  • Placing purchase orders and liaising with suppliers
  • Receiving, checking and booking in incoming goods
  • Maintaining accurate stock levels and inventory records
  • Coordinating couriers and transport for customer deliveries
  • Picking, packing and dispatching customer orders
  • Maintaining clean, organised and safe trade counter, stores and warehouse areas
  • Building positive relationships with customers and suppliers
  • Identifying opportunities to improve customer service and operational processes
  • Following company procedures and health & safety requirements

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in a trade counter, customer service or branch-based sales support role
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience processing customer orders and dealing directly with customers
  • Experience with stock control and inventory management
  • Experience using Sage or a similar ERP system
  • Experience placing purchase orders and liaising with suppliers
  • The ability to work independently and use initiative
  • A full driving licence

Experience within engineering, industrial supplies, builders' merchants, electrical wholesale or a similar environment would be desirable. A forklift licence and knowledge of industrial, engineering, pneumatic or technical products would also be advantageous.

Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm
