OWN THE TERRITORY. WIN THE SPACE. UNLEASH THE BEAST.
Are you great with people, commercially minded and confident building relationships face-to-face? Do you have the energy to get out into the market, take ownership of your own territory and make things happen? Want to take your experience in retail, sales, merchandising or customer service and build a career with one of the most recognisable brands in the world?
The Advocate Group is proud to be the exclusive talent partner for Monster Energy, supporting the continued growth of its GB field sales team.
For more than 20 years, Monster has been disrupting the beverage industry. Today, the Monster family spans 6,000+ people across 70+ countries, 17 energy drink brands, products sold in 150+ countries and territories and 500+ global ambassadors.
But Monster has never been built like a conventional drinks company.
The brand lives through its fans and the worlds they care about, from motorsport and action sports to gaming, music and culture. Monster's approach is about supporting the scene, its athletes, bands and fans rather than relying on conventional advertising.
Now we're looking for someone to bring that same energy into stores across Luton, Milton Keynes, Bedford and the surrounding areas.
THIS IS YOUR TERRITORY
As a Trade Development Manager, you'll be out in the market every day, building relationships with independent retailers and helping Monster win where it matters – in-store.
You'll take ownership of your own territory, visiting customers, opening new accounts and finding opportunities to get more Monster products ranged, chilled, visible and sold.
More doors. More range. More facings. More space. Better execution.
You'll work alongside Monster's bottling partner while becoming the face of Monster to independent retailers across your patch.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

See breakdownIt searches the market for you
Every day your agent scans the market matching roles against what actually matters to you, not just keywords on a CV.
Why you're a good match
You’ve got the grades and the economics background, and your bank internship is exactly the experience this scheme looks for. Apply soon — deadlines close within the month.
Experience fit
Your summer at the bank plus your econometrics coursework map directly to the day-one responsibilities on this scheme — client modelling, market briefings, and deal support.
Only hits
No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.
You don't necessarily need previous FMCG or field sales experience to succeed.
If you've built strong customer-facing skills within retail, visual merchandising, sales, customer service, hospitality or another fast-paced environment, this could be your opportunity to take those skills into a field-based commercial career.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
You'll be trusted to manage your territory like your own business, building relationships and identifying where you can make the biggest impact.
That means:
- Building strong relationships with independent retailers across Luton, Milton Keynes, Bedford and surrounding areas.
- Winning new customers and helping expand Monster's distribution.
- Increasing range, facings and chilled availability within stores.
- Spotting opportunities for better product positioning, additional space and secondary displays.
- Bringing promotions to life and making sure Monster stands out in-store.
- Using POS, chillers and merchandising equipment to improve visibility and execution.
- Having confident conversations with retailers and influencing them to try something new.
- Working alongside Monster's bottling partner teams to achieve shared objectives.
- Planning your own calls and managing your territory effectively.
- Keeping an eye on competitors and feeding back what's happening in the market.
- Taking ownership of your stock, equipment, reporting and territory spend.
COULD THIS BE YOUR NEXT STEP?
We're interested in attitude, potential and people skills, not just what's written on your CV.
Previous FMCG, convenience or field sales experience would be great, but it isn't essential.
You could currently be working in retail or store management, where you're used to driving standards, merchandising products and speaking to customers every day.
You might have a visual merchandising background and know exactly what good in-store execution looks like.

Get help with your application
Your very own career expert that helps elevate your application to the next level.
Or perhaps you're in sales, customer service or hospitality, where you've developed the confidence to approach people, build rapport, handle objections and influence decisions.
What matters is that you're someone who enjoys working with people, isn't afraid to start a conversation and has the drive to get a result.
Monster can teach you the category, customers and kit.
We're looking for the personality and potential to make the most of it.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED
- A full UK manual driving licence is essential – you'll be field-based and driving a company-provided, Transit-sized manual vehicle.
- You'll need to be comfortable spending your working week out in the trade visiting customers face-to-face.
- You'll be organised enough to plan your own day and manage a busy geographical territory.
- You'll have a confident, outgoing approach and be comfortable starting conversations with new people.
- Previous field sales, FMCG or convenience experience is advantageous, but not essential.
- Experience within retail, visual merchandising, sales, customer service, hospitality or another customer-facing environment would also be highly relevant.
- You'll ideally be based within or around Luton, Milton Keynes or Bedford, with the flexibility to travel throughout the wider territory.
READY TO OWN IT?
If you're looking for the opportunity to turn your customer-facing experience into a career in field sales, while representing one of the world's most recognisable brands, we want to hear from you.
Apply now and Unleash the Beast.
Own the territory. Win the space. Bleed Green.
