We are working with a leading national law firm based in London for a Lawyer to join their Trade Finance team.
The Role:
The successful candidate will join a growing Banking & Finance team, advising borrowers and lenders including international banks, commodities companies and other financial institutions. The team advises across secured and unsecured lending, syndicated facilities, acquisition and project finance, asset and receivables finance, structured finance and trade and commodities financing transactions.

The role will have a particular focus on trade finance, receivables and borrowing-base financing, export credit arrangements, pre-payment and limited recourse structures, credit and non-payment risk insurance, payment guarantees and electronic trade documentation. The successful candidate will also advise on banking regulation and sanctions matters.
Essential Criteria:
- 3+ years’ PQE;
- Strong background in trade finance matters;
- Strong academics required;
- Technically excellent;
- Ability to work to tight deadlines;
- Effective organisation skills;
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
