In this position you will....

Lead our multi-channel trade-in operations across South East Asia. Be accountable for all day-to-day trade-in operations (including pricing and asset management) across the region, develop business cases and seek new business growth.

You will be responsible for...

  • Driving the profitable use of the trade-in programmes in all channels across the region.
  • Developing and deploying the physical trade-in infrastructure.
  • Reviewing, qualifying and robustly challenging business cases for new opportunities before seeking approval.
  • Accountability of the operational and commercial relationships with back-end trade-in suppliers.
  • Managing both ‘buy’ and ‘sell’ pricing to drive optimal margin creation.
  • Deciding the future strategic direction of trade-In, in collaboration with Finance, Sales and business operations.
  • Planning and executing operational and commercial changes to achieve market leading customer experience in the trade-In proposition.
  • Achieving Key Performance Indicator (KPI) targets, both internal and external
  • Undertaking regular reviews of competitor markets identifying key development areas and gaps in the market.
  • Working across the wider global group to ensure we optimise trade-in as a product and leverage local market knowledge.

You will require the following qualifications and skills

  • 3 years minimum experience of working in Operations or Supply Chain within the Telecommunication industry.
  • Specific understanding or experience of working the trade-in market preferred.
  • Ability to drive change and demonstrated ability to accomplish results, meet deadlines and commitments.
  • Proven Account management skills & strong leadership.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (fluent in English).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of Profit and Loss (P&L) management.
  • “Can-do” proactive attitude with the determination to see through change.
  • Ability to work effectively across a complex matrix organisation and establish strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Superior influencing and interpersonal skills, necessary to affect strategy and policies at both the technical and senior executive level.
