Role Description

This role will be perfect for a first-time sales role, someone who is keen to learn sales and the health and wellness sector. The Trade Manager role is a full-time, on-site role based in Shere, responsible for managing and growing trade relationships with retailers, distributors, and healthcare partners. Day-to-day activities include overseeing wholesale accounts, negotiating pricing and trade terms, and ensuring timely order processing and fulfillment. The role involves developing and executing trade strategies, monitoring sales performance, and identifying opportunities for market expansion and product placement. The Trade Manager collaborates closely with marketing and operations teams to align promotional activities, maintain accurate product and pricing information, and support launch campaigns. The role also includes regular reporting, forecasting, and participation in trade events or meetings to strengthen brand presence and customer engagement.

Role Requirements & Desirable Attributes

Essential Qualities & Skills

  • Exceptional Organisation & Multi-Tasking: Ability to manage multiple accounts, track follow-ups, and keep day-to-day operations running smoothly.
  • Confidence & Communication: Comfortable proactively reaching out to new prospective customers, building rapport, and presenting our product range.
  • Customer Care & Account Management: High attention to detail with a dedicated approach to supporting and nurturing existing B2B relationships.
  • Event & Trade Show Execution: Enthusiasm and strong organisational ability to help plan, set up, and run our industry trade shows.
  • Tech Literacy: Comfortable working with spreadsheets, standard business software, using AI and learning new systems like CRM and order databases.

Bonus / Nice-to-Have (Not Required)

  • Interest in Natural Health & Wellness: A passion for or interest in natural health products and their benefits.
  • Data & Trend Familiarity: Basic comfort with looking at sales numbers, inventory levels, and customer feedback to help spot opportunities.
  • Industry Exposure: Any prior background in health, wellness, FMCG, or customer-facing roles is a plus, though full training will be provided.

Salary

The base salary will be £28,000 with an OTE of £55,000. There is also an uncapped commission structure.

This is an on-site role, so please don't apply if you can't be in the office full-time.
