Role Description

The Trade Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Shere, responsible for managing and growing trade relationships with retailers, distributors, and healthcare partners. Day-to-day activities include:

  • Overseeing wholesale accounts
  • Negotiating pricing and trade terms
  • Ensuring timely order processing and fulfillment

The role involves:

  • Developing and executing trade strategies
  • Monitoring sales performance
  • Identifying opportunities for market expansion and product placement

The Trade Manager collaborates closely with marketing and operations teams to:

  • Align promotional activities
  • Maintain accurate product and pricing information
  • Support launch campaigns

The role also includes:

  • Regular reporting
  • Forecasting
  • Participation in trade events or meetings to strengthen brand presence and customer engagement

Qualifications

  • Strong trade management and account management skills, with experience overseeing wholesale or B2B relationships.
  • Proficiency in sales planning, forecasting, and negotiation to support sustainable revenue growth.
  • Knowledge of distribution, inventory, and order management processes within a product-based business.
  • Ability to analyze sales data, market trends, and customer feedback to inform trade strategies.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders.
  • Comfort working with CRM and ERP systems, spreadsheets, and standard business software tools.
  • Experience in the health, wellness, or FMCG sectors is highly beneficial.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
  • Commitment to ethical business practices and an interest in natural health products and their benefits.
