An exciting and unique opportunity has arisen within the Immediate Media Trade Marketing Team to work on some of the biggest brands in the magazine market. You will work on major retail/trade marketing campaigns throughout the year which could include Christmas Radio Times, Christmas Good Food, and the Spring Gardeners World campaign. The role will be reporting to the Immediate Trade Marketing Controller.

You will be responsible for providing vital admin support, understanding market conditions, analysing sales and retail trends and both the planning and implementation of retail promotions. You will use your excellent communication skills to liaise with our publishing teams and external companies.

Your proactive approach will enable you to support our Newstrade Marketing Managers in proposing sales driving ideas to the team. Drawing on your planning and organisational skills, you will manage collating information to help shape and deliver our retail strategy.

This great opportunity is full-time, permanent opportunity based in Immediate's Hammersmith office with hybrid working arrangements.

What you'll be doing:

  • Forecasting weekly sales on a wide range of magazine titles.
  • Liaising with Publishing and Frontline teams to provide information to external and internal personnel.
  • Assisting the team with business planning and budgeting.
  • Creating weekly sales reports.
  • Ensuring centralised databases are up to date.
  • Analysing market and retail data to provide support to the Trade Marketing team in decision-making process.
  • Planning and implementing retail promotional bookings.

What we're looking for:

  • Strong analytical and numeracy skills, with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with the ability to manage data effectively
  • Highly organised with strong time management skills, able to prioritise and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible and resourceful, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
  • Confident communicator with strong interpersonal and relationship management skills
  • Able to work effectively both independently and collaboratively as part of a team
