Trade Marketing Manager | Retail | Competitive Salary

We are partnering with an established consumer brand to recruit a Trade Marketing Manager to lead the planning and delivery of campaigns across its wholesale and retail network.

This is a commercially focused marketing role, working across brand, retail, wholesale and digital channels to bring campaigns, product launches and seasonal activity to life. The Trade Marketing Manager will play an important role in strengthening retail presence, supporting wholesale partners and ensuring customers experience a consistent and engaging brand proposition across every touchpoint.

The role would suit a creative and commercially minded marketer who understands how brands operate in a retail environment and can take campaigns from strategy and planning through to execution and measurement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver trade marketing plans aligned to wider brand and commercial objectives.
  • Lead integrated campaigns across wholesale, retail and digital channels, from initial concept through to execution.
  • Work closely with wholesale partners to develop effective retail marketing activity that drives visibility, engagement and sales.
  • Plan and deliver seasonal campaigns, product launches and key commercial initiatives.
  • Develop and manage retail marketing assets including POS, in-store displays, promotional materials and digital content.
  • Partner with internal teams across Brand, Ecommerce, Sales and Product to ensure campaigns are aligned and delivered effectively.
  • Support the development of customer-facing content across social media, email and other digital channels.
  • Use customer, market and competitor insight to identify opportunities and inform campaign planning.
  • Manage campaign timelines, budgets, agencies and external partners where required.
  • Monitor campaign performance and commercial results, using data and insight to identify opportunities for optimisation.
  • Ensure all trade marketing activity is delivered consistently and in line with brand guidelines.
  • Keep up to date with retail, consumer and marketing trends to identify new opportunities for the brand and its retail partners.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
