Position Summary
This is a great opportunity to join our expanding business as Trade Marketing Specialist. In your newly created role, you will be responsible for implementing marketing strategies that enhance brand visibility and drive sales within the trade sector. As the world’s leading manufacturer of major domestic appliances, this would suit someone who is looking to work as part of a Global organisation that can offer career opportunities as the business continues to grow within the UK market. This is a fast past environment, and we are looking for someone who can be agile and can react to the needs of the business.
As the Trade Marketing Specialist, you will
- Develop and Execute Strategies: Create and implement trade marketing strategies aligned with overall marketing goals to boost brand presence and sales.
- Collaborate with Sales Teams: Work closely with sales teams to execute marketing plans across various channels and ensure effective product placement.
- Manage Promotional Campaigns: Oversee promotional activities to increase product visibility and drive sales in target markets.
- Analyse Market Trends: Monitor and analyse market trends, sales data, and competitor activities to inform marketing strategies and optimize performance.
- Build Relationships: Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including retailers, distributors, and internal teams, to enhance collaboration and effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
- Budget Management: Ensure that activities are kept within the budget control process.
- Reporting: Monitor and report on the effectiveness of trade marketing initiatives, providing insights for continuous improvement.

To be successful for this role we are looking for
- A degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is typically required.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in similar role
- Comprehensive related Industry and product knowledge preferred
- Experience in working within a branded consumer product environment
- Demonstrates ambition and desire to succeed in the Organisation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential
- Experience with budget management and financial analysis is also beneficial
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Marketing, Business, Commerce, Economics, or related field (desirable).
- OR, Professional marketing qualification:
- CIM (Chartered Institute of Marketing)
- IDM (Institute of Data & Marketing)
- Category Management Association certifications
What's on offer
This role is a hybrid role with a need to be in our in our Manchester Head Office for a minimum of 3 days per week along with regular customer visits when required. Other company benefits available including pension and private healthcare schemes.
