Trade Relationship Manager - SPL Villas
You will be responsible for driving lead generation and increasing brand awareness among both existing and prospective trade partners. Your focus will be on strengthening relationships, increasing conversion, and identifying opportunities to onboard new business-to-business partnerships where appropriate.
This is a target-focused role with additional administrative duties including commission processing, invoicing, and supporting trade marketing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the subject matter expert for SPL Villas on all trade-related in-house reservation system queries.
- Consistently hitting targets set by Head of Sales on both lead and booking generation.
- Ensure all departments are equipped and trained to handle trade-related queries effectively.
- Facilitate new agent onboarding and maintain accurate, up-to-date agent records.
- Ensure all agreed commercial terms for agents are correctly applied within the reservation system.
- Proactively promote the trade sales channel internally through communications, training sessions, and PR initiatives.
- Champion trade sales across the wider sales teams, supporting and training staff to ensure best practices are followed.
- Create and maintain internal training resources, training modules, and regional documentation to support trade sales conversion.
- Develop and deliver trade sales training for new starters as part of their onboarding programme.
- Produce trade sales, lead-generation partner, and key account reports in line with business requirements.
- Gather and analyse real-time feedback from trade partners on SPL Villas’ service, sharing insights with senior stakeholders and identifying areas for improvement.
- Establish and deliver an effective onboarding journey for new travel agency partners.
- Assist in organising and managing in-house trade events as required.
- Attend agent events, conferences, and meetings when necessary.
- Take responsibility for coordinating centralised agent gifting initiatives.

About You
You will have proven experience within a trade sales environment and be confident communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, both internally and within the trade client base. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook); knowledge of Asana would be advantageous.

- A valid driver’s licence.
