Trade Sales Manager

Football Escapes Limited · Reigate (hybrid, 3 days a week in the office) · Full-time, permanent · Reports to the Managing Director

About Football Escapes

We run premium, resort-based football coaching holidays for families at luxury properties including Ikos, Regnum, Jumeirah and Siyam World, across seven countries. Every course is led by professional coaches alongside ambassadors from the professional game. We are an ATOL-protected tour operator.

The Role

You will build and own Football Escapes' travel trade channel from the ground up. Your job is to turn a small group of hand-picked UK travel agents into a reliable, high-value source of bookings that fills our courses earlier in the season.

This is a builder's role. We have signed our first agency partner and want to add a select number of further partners rather than chase volume. You will shape the commercial terms, the agent experience and the systems behind it.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build the channel
    • Own the trade sales strategy, targets and forecast, agreed with the MD each season
    • Identify, pitch and sign a small number of high-quality agency partners — luxury independents, homeworker networks and specialist family travel agents
    • Negotiate agency agreements and commercial schedules: commission, overrides, non-commissionable items and incentives
    • Shape trade pricing and protect rate integrity across direct and trade channels

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
