Middle Office | Relocation from London to Dubai

Join a High-Performing Global Investment Firm

An established global investment management firm is seeking a Trade Operations Associate to join its growing Middle Office team in Dubai. This is an outstanding opportunity to work at the heart of a sophisticated trading business, supporting a diverse range of investment strategies across global markets.

You will gain exposure to multiple asset classes, collaborate with front-office professionals, and play a key role in ensuring the seamless execution and settlement of trades. The position offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment where attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and operational excellence are highly valued.

The Opportunity

Working closely with Portfolio Managers, Traders, Risk, Finance, Technology, and external counterparties, you will help ensure operational efficiency, mitigate risk, and support the firm's continued growth.

This role is ideal for an operations professional looking to broaden their product exposure and take ownership within a highly collaborative and intellectually stimulating environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the end-to-end trade lifecycle across multiple asset classes including equities, fixed income, derivatives, foreign exchange, and structured products.
  • Support trade capture, allocations, affirmations, settlements, reconciliations, and lifecycle event processing.
  • Partner with front-office teams to investigate and resolve trade, P&L, and reconciliation queries.
  • Monitor and process corporate action events, liaising with internal stakeholders and market counterparties where required.
  • Work closely with control and reconciliation teams to ensure the accuracy of books and records.
  • Utilise industry platforms and market infrastructure systems to monitor and manage trade activity.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to operational efficiency initiatives.
  • Assist in reducing operational risk through effective controls and timely issue resolution.
  • Build strong relationships with internal teams, brokers, custodians, administrators, and other external partners.
  • Support the ongoing enhancement of operational procedures and best practices.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
