Quant Capital is working with a leading global trading firm looking to hire a Trading Support Specialist to support several fast-moving desks across London and Chicago.
This is a front-office focused role where you’ll work directly with traders, researchers and engineers to keep trading running smoothly, fix real problems quickly, and improve the operational workflow of high-performance desks.
This is an opportunity to solve challenging problems while working closely with experienced traders, researchers and software engineers to optimize operational workflow and use the right tools and technology for the job.

What you’ll do
- Provide operational support for trading desks
- Trade capture
- Trade and position reconciliation
- Daily P&L calculation and substantiation
- Gain a strong understanding of traders’ risk management tools and provide support for related traders’ needs
- Upgrade and support traders’ tools to effectively utilize technologies and tools that are firm standard
What you’ll need
- Experience in a trading environment
- Exposure to futures, options or OTC products
- Hands-on Python skills
- Working knowledge of SQL, Git and Linux
- Comfort engaging directly with traders and senior stakeholders
- Ability to troubleshoot, solve problems and take ownership
- Quantitative degree or equivalent experience
- Independent, reliable and able to operate under time pressure
