Role Overview
Our client, a leading global multi-strategy hedge fund experiencing a significant period growth and rapidly increasing trading volumes, are looking to hire a Trader Assistant into its London team.
Responsibilities
Working as part of a global TA function, the successful candidate will sit alongside high profile Portfolio Managers and Traders, supporting an high volume trading desk covering multiple strategies / products. The role will encompass:

- Trade booking
- NPV calculations for unwinds and novations
- Sourcing prices
- Supporting PMs with position and risk queries
- Providing back-up execution when required
Position Details
This is a front-office focused position (not MO). The firm has an excellent track record of internal mobility, with previous Trader Assistants progressing into a variety of other functions including Trading, Risk, COO support, project management etc.

Compensation
- Base salary budget: up to £120k
- Bonuses: ranging from 50 – 100% (a year one TC of up to £200k is realistic for a high performer)
- Professional qualifications sponsorship: the firm will fully sponsor professional qualifications including the CFA and IMC, alongside study leave.
