Company Overview

At iD Mobile, we're passionate about delivering great value, innovative mobile solutions and outstanding customer experiences to more than 2.7 million customers. Since launching in 2015, we've grown into one of the UK's leading mobile virtual network operators, offering feature-packed plans and the latest smartphones.

Backed by Currys plc, Europe's leading technology retailer, we combine the pace and ambition of a fast-growing brand with the support and stability of an established business. It's an exciting environment where you can make a real impact, develop your career and help shape the future of iD Mobile.

Role Overview

We're looking for a commercially minded Trading Analyst to join our iD Mobile Acquisitions team. Using data-driven insight and commercial understanding, you'll help drive customer acquisition and profitability across channels including Currys, Carphone Warehouse and idmobile.co.uk. Working closely with the SIMO (SIM Only) Trading Manager, you'll support pricing, promotions and trading activity, turning performance data into actionable recommendations that influence decisions and deliver growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting the management and optimisation of the SIMO tariff portfolio, including pricing, promotional planning and trading performance analysis.
  • Producing and analysing daily and weekly sales reports, identifying key trends, risks and opportunities across channels and product categories.
  • Driving reporting efficiencies by working closely with Business Intelligence teams to develop and automate reporting solutions.
  • Supporting the performance of the Currys and Carphone Warehouse channels, using insight to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Partnering with iD Mobile's Digital and Affiliate teams to understand performance drivers and maximise acquisition opportunities.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Go To Market and Operations, to deliver acquisition and profitability targets.
  • Maintaining pricing accuracy and providing constructive challenge on commercial assumptions to support profitable decision-making.
  • Monitoring competitor activity, market trends and new propositions, providing recommendations on pricing and promotional actions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
