Business Manager - Trading | London

Strong Total Comp on Offer
Onsite 5 days per week

An exciting opportunity to join a leading global financial institution in a highly visible role supporting a multi-asset trading business. Acting as the bridge between Trading, Operations, Technology, Risk, Compliance and Legal teams, you will drive strategic initiatives, optimise business processes, and help shape the commercial direction of the trading desk.

Key Responsibilities

Business Strategy & Commercial Analysis

  • Support the development and execution of trading desk strategy.
  • Assess new business initiatives, products, market opportunities and trading enhancements.
  • Analyse commercial viability, business impact and implementation requirements.
  • Evaluate business priorities and trade-offs between commercial value and technical investment.
  • Gather and translate trader requirements into actionable business solutions.

Stakeholder Management & Business Oversight

  • Act as the primary business representative across Trading, Technology, Operations, Risk, Legal, Compliance and Sales.
  • Coordinate and prioritise business requests across the trading desk.
  • Manage key external relationships and legal agreement pipelines.
  • Support client proposals and commercial initiatives where required.
  • Provide regular updates to senior trading leadership on business priorities and project progress.

Change & Project Delivery

  • Define, scope and document strategic initiatives before transition into project delivery.
  • Act as business stakeholder on both tactical and strategic projects.
  • Facilitate workshops, decision-making forums and cross-functional discussions.
  • Identify blockers, manage escalations and ensure successful execution of business priorities.
  • Drive continuous improvement across processes, communication and operational efficiency.
